Day 17 of the 30 Day Art Challenge from Google+ was "Your favourite holiday." This one really bogged me down. I don't care for holidays, they're usually full of high expectations and stress, and I don't even have a least favourite holiday or one that I dislike less than the others. After a week of stewing over this, my twin finally suggested Trader's Holiday. It was a shop in Everquest.
I had just come from the docks and was sneaking through the alleys of East Freeport, where they did not like my kind at all, to North Freeport, where they did.
"Die, like a motherless gnoll!" screamed the guard.
I'd been spotted. It was probably my armour; I suppose gleaming lambent blue wasn't the best color for skulking around dark alleyways, but Karana damn me if I went about in rags like the humans in this city. Ducking through the open doorway of the Trader's Holiday, with Selo's chant on my tongue (and feet), I sped past Tisla, who just stood there gawping at the chase.
If I made it around the corner, I knew he'd lose interest.
I remember going on a raiding party to Misty Thicket to butcher halfling druids with my dark elf cleric. >.> WHOOPS.
And yeah... around the corner was the zone line to West Freeport. Hooray for zone lines!
