Improbable armour choices ahead!
This one was done just for fun, though it went through a lot of frustratingly different iterations before the character actually became any fun to play with. I finally fell back on an old abandoned favourite and sort of recreated an old bard character.

The neat thing about having access to magic, is that the armor doesn't NEED to cover everything, you can use magic to protect the rest. 
And bards have long been one of my favorite classes. In a 4E game I'm playing in my char is a female drow bard with a bastard-sword songblade.
